A cavern with large deposits of gold ore. The veins are so rich that they line the walls of the caves, wrapping around some of the innermost rooms several times.

A large, open glade that is flanked on all sides by the native coniferous trees of the area.

A natural hot spring that most animals in the area flock to in order to seek refuge from the harsh cold that surrounds it.

The Northernmost point on the mainland of Aurelia. A strange ring of carved standing stones marks the location out, where a font of raw magical energy can be felt by all who understand the gift of magic.

A medium-sized island with a smaller sister island, some say that voices can be heard when the wind blows through the leaves of the large oaks here. Some insist that it is the voice of the gods, but others will dismiss it as superstition.

A large sparkling bay with a large island directly in the middle. Pack leaders or representatives often meet on this island to discuss important issues during times of crisis or great need.

A medium-sized, tooth-shaped island. Mostly home to rocky shores and sea birds.

Out in the open ocean, there are unseen threats that could sweep a wolf away in an instant. The underwater currents here are so strong, they sunk the seafaring ships of the Land Striders, one of which is permanently embedded in the rocks of Riptide Island.

Thick, marshy mud and sinkholes make this area treacherous underfoot. Many animals have fallen into the quicksand and shallow pools of muck never to come out again.

This murky, almost stagnant river is home to alligators and venomous snakes. Tangled mangrove roots hide all the nasty things that the water could be housing. Tread carefully.

When the tide leaves this part of the rocky beaches, it leaves behind deposits of seawater in pools of sea life. These areas are usually frequented by apothecaries for salt deposits.

Named for the rocky breakers that line the shore, the waters in this area tend to be rough and deep.

A series of mesas and bluffs off the tail end of the Zephyr Mountains. Sparsely adorned with scrub brush and inhabited by small, hardy prey animals and the occasional tough deer.

A portion of the desert that is only sand dunes as far as the eye can see. The hot and arid climate is home to some of the hardiest plants and animals.

A wide, fast-flowing river lined with mixed deciduous and coniferous forest. The river is frequently broken by waterfalls, some being quite large and tall. The rapids have been known to sweep even mighty bears away should they get too careless.

A large deciduous forest that is permanently in fall colors.

Steep, rocky ascents comprised of flat stones that crumble apart underfoot and slide down the mountainside. Frequented by goats and deer, one must be extremely sure-footed to traverse this treacherous terrain.

A mysterious jutting sculpture comes from the side of the mountains that looks exactly like a wolf skull. The inside is hollow and spacious, and would easily fit an entire pack of wolves. It's origin is unknown, though some theorize it was carved by Land Striders before they disappeared.

The Northern half of the Eastern Scar is white not with snow, but ash from the occasional brief eruptions from Firemaw Mountain. A thick layer of ash blankets the ground, and only the very hardy brown mushroom trees can survive the ashfall of this area.

Constant lava flows cooling have deposited large amounts of obsidian in this deep valley, and razor sharp rocks underfoot are a constant threat.
