The rules for character creation
First of all, if you haven't read our forum's general rules or FAQ, you should definitely do so here: Rules & FAQ.
After you've done that(or if you already have), there are some basic but very important rules about creating your character that everybody should be aware of.
1. To start with, a player is allowed 1(one) character of the regular species and 1(one) undead character. In order to create more characters, the following requirements must be met:
- 2nd non-undead character: 20 IC posts
- 3rd non-undead character: 30 IC posts with the 2nd character
- 4th non-undead character: 40 IC posts with the 3rd character
Etc.
Additional undead characters can only be made by buying the Additional Undead Character Totem.
2. We are an account-per-character RP. This makes organization and record keeping much easier. You CAN register multiple accounts to one email address, so don't think that you have to make a new email account for every character.
3. Rememebr to claim your new character bonuses and Lupin for starting mutations at the Lupin Claim.
4. Try your hardest to share your plotlines. Familial relationships, storylines, etc. Be sure to include others in the fun!
5. When creating your character, please try not to be too tropey. Get creative! A character should be a unique person, and can be a reflection of your own personality or something entirely different and unique to only your imagination. Remember that not everyone has to be a dark and edgey loner with a tragic past to be cool!
6. You are not allowed to post any threads in the In Character role play area until a staff member has officially accepted your character application and moved it to the "Accepted Characters" section.
7. Before blowing up the shoutbox, give staff members the chance to see your request. We'll usually get right on it.
8. If a staff member asks you to elaborate on something in your application, be sure the explanation makes it into your application. We aren't telepathic, so explaining it to just one person won't cut it.
9. Remember, this isn't a fanfiction with just your character. Others will interact with your creation; make sure they aren't some unstopable force just because you decided they can't be beaten. This will be considered powerplaying and your character will not get accepted.
