A huge chunk of black obsidian juts from the ground in the southern region of the Eastern Scar. It glows internally with a strange red light, and looks more like it was placed rather than naturally occurred. The surrounding area is lightly coated in ash, and is mixed coniferous forest and mushroom trees.
